Locally Sourced
Proud to be distributing for Camatta Ranch, a family run heritage property located in SLO County, east of Atascadero. Learn more about the Morrison family and their multi-generational ancestry as ranchers below.
The Morrisons are 6th generation ranchers who have been managing the local SLO County Camatta Ranch, home of Lazy Arrow Adventures, since the late 1970s. Prior to settling on the central coast, the Morrisons had been ranching in Southern California since 1870. The following year (1871), the land now known as Camatta Ranch was designated as pasture land. Switching ownership a few times over the decades until the Morrisons traded for it in 1979. Their cattle are 100% Black Angus, lifetime regeneratively pastured, grass fed, grass finished, raised without antibiotics, and no added hormones. Their beef is processed locally in a USDA inspected facility and dry aged for a minimum of 21 days to secure premium taste.
